"There's a well know Caribbean spice called pimento that has the endearing name of allspice in English. I have always found this name quite curious and for a good reason: when the spice was brought to England, everyone had trouble describing it as it had fragrances of clove, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg wrapped all together in one!

 

As a perfumer, I am very fond of spices. They are full of nobility. No wonder why we are always looking for the spice of life!... So I wanted Wilgermain to have a very spicy fragrance in its repertoire. And here it is!

 

For this fragrance, I wanted to explore this allspice concept using a myriad of different spices that together would deliver a totally new, unknown spice aroma. A special quality of pepper from Nepal brought that extra punch that I was looking for.”
